Working in Makati on a graveyard shift, one of the struggles is looking for a descent place to eat. Well, worry no more. We found a perfect one! ChopStop, located at Ground Floor, Centrum II Building, 150 Valero Street, Salcedo Village, Makati City beside Army Navy in Valero. ChopStop is very noticeable because of their fancy signages and interiors.
The Interiors
The theme is mostly about signages. Different stop signs with a bit of humor added to it. Base on observation, the place could accommodate 30-40 pax. Not bad eh?
The Food
My partner and I were able to try out one of their best sellers – Tonkatsu Pork Chop. Priced at 149 PHP, it comes with veggies too. Their Tonkatsu Pork Chop is far comparable to the usual Japanese Tonkatsu so don’t expect much since this ain’t a Japanese restaurant though. The crispness of the breading and the strong flavor is what makes it really stand out.
Another meal we tried is the Meatloaf, priced at 159 PHP with scrambled eggs. I love the rich taste of the meatloaf and add to that the sauce!
Over all, I will give ChopStop 7 out of 10 rating. I love their location and the restaurant’s ambiance itself. The food are a bit pricey but worth the try. Check out more of their meals below
So if you are tired of eating fast foods, go check out Chop Stop at Valero, Makati beside Army Navy. They are open Mondays-Fridays (M-TH 10AM-2AM and Friday 10AM-5AM). Oh, did I mention that they have a live acoustic band during Friday nights?
